Sushant Singh Rajput's demise has raised many questions. The actor died by suicide, however, police could not find a suicide note in his apartment. So no one knows what exactly prompted him to take such a drastic step. The actor was said to be in depression for the last six months and was under medication. While the investigation is on, a debate over nepotism in Bollywood has started over social media. Netizens are bashing Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt on twitter. Now, Swara Bhasker has come to their rescue.
As trends like #KaranJoharIsBully took over the internet, Swara came to the defense of the filmmaker and stated that netizens should not take their frustration out using Sushant Singh Rajput's demise. She wrote, "Parts of India Twitter blaming #KaranJohar and #AliaBhatt for the tragic suicide of Sushant - for some silly game played on a frivolous and pointless chat show (that All those people who are now abusing Bollywood nepotism lapped up) is both the height of idiocy and hypocrisy!"
In the next tweet, she wrote that Sushant did not want to talk about anything and hence he did not leave behind a note. She requested all to let his family grieve. "Sushant didn’t leave a note. We don’t know what he went thru. We don’t know the cause. STOP taking out ur frustration using the pain of a troubled person. He didn’t leave a note! Get it? He didn’t want to talk about it. He’s gone. Let him have his peace & his family privacy," he tweet read.
